Other trail signs from around the country.

These are some signs i have been looking on the internet that I feel are nice and have worked well for the walks. I feel the more fun and entertain the signs are more entertained and keen the children will be to do the walk.

These are just quick rough sketches on what I feel the sign posts will look like around my map will look like. I want to keep it simple and also fun so In the last sketch is a board that's split in two the top half is for adults so they can see the walk and the bottom half will be a fun activity for the children to do whilst they are walking around as well, something like how many of the different animals they can see whilst walking around etc.

Water Rockets How to make - Take off to landing

There are many ways to make a Water rocket and so many different types, ones that separate into bits, ones that have a mini parachute in them, and many more that all help make the rocket have a safe landing. These are my drawings that explain the proses and how it is meant to look.

Quick Information Sketches

Task 1 

In class we looked at a power point on different ways to communicate graphical information, the  area that I liked was the quick information sketches, the reason behind this is because its used in everyday life in many different types of industry and one very important part of that industry is Fashion Design. The reason it is highly used in this area is because you can visually see weather the garment will work or not. If a fashion designer just went to making the product it would be a very expensive trial and error if they got it wrong not to mention the time it would take to produce. I think looking at fashion designers sketchbooks are fascinating because not only are there doodles in it there are pieces of material they like and are considering and any inspiration they has found that helps covey a message across with these information sketches. The reason information sketches are so important because if your working for a client who isn't as visually minded as you then sometimes getting the concept across might be more difficult that it seams but if you can show examples of how the garment (in this case) would work and look like on the model and with annotations on it and other bits of material and inspiration you are really bringing a concepts to life and especially if your explaining to someone who inst visually minded.
